POLARIZATION

GENERAL
Polarization cell controls the
fault voltage (AC induced current, lightning strikes and grounding fault
current) on buried structures while permitting cathodic protection voltage to
flow. The cell act as electrochemical switch to shunt dangerous voltage but do
not possess an internal voltage.
