ZINC ANODE
GENERAL
The Zinc Alloy Anodes are
casted from High Grade Zinc Ingot of Minimum Purity 99% with small addition of
special alloy elements. Zinc anodes provide a very simple, cost effective,
maintenance free method of corrosion control for buried or immersed Metallic
structures. zinc was effective and economical method
of protecting a wide variety of underground and under water metallic systems
for over 20 years.
TYPICAL APPLICATIONS
-
Zinc anodes are used in water
and mud with resistivities up to 1000 Ohm cm.
-
Zinc should not be used where
temperature above +50-C.
-
Zinc anodes are commonly used
in high quality anti-corrosion coating submarine pipeline, offshore-- structure, quay wall and for marine
application in ballast tank and external ships hulls and rudder protection.
