Silicon Iron Anodes are commonly used in fresh water, seawater, or underground applications, possessing excellent resistance to corrosion within a wide variety of environments. "Normal Type" Anodes are ideally used in neutral soil & fresh water environment.

"Chrome Type" Anodes are ideally used in aggressive and acidic or alkaline soil and sea water environments.
