FLUSH TYPE TEST FACILITY

The flush type test facility is designed for flush mounted, at-grade terminal that is used for conveniently monitoring electrical currents and potentials associated with all type of underground piping cables and other metallic structures.

 

The test facility is made in cast iron; therefore it will maintain its structural integrity during hard usage and is suitable for installation in asphalt. The flush type is used as a terminal for test leads to read:

 

Underground structure-to-soil potential
Cathodic protection anode current
The resistive intergrity of insulation flanges and joints
The integrity of insulation between all types of underground metallic structures, such as between a carrier and its casing
Stray currents on all types of underground structures

 

The test facility cover can be lockable or normal type. The normal type is easier for maintenance and monitoring works; while the lockable type is more suitable to prevent vandalism.
